Job Description

Wasserman seeks a talented and drive Designer to help create work for a major player in the sports and hydration space. You will be building creative assets across, but not limited to, digital and social platforms. This includes both still and motion design.

You will be helping to make social media content for sports and lifestyle brands, so it must look premium and polished. Must have a passion for design and animation that is dynamic and eye-popping. We're striving to freeze our audience's endless thumb scrolling with fresh, innovative, and attention-grabbing work.

You will also be working with a very tight-knit team. There will be minimal layers of overhead, but a very heavy level of dependence and trust between all team members to deliver and support every other team member.

LA preferred with a hybrid schedule of three days in the office.

 

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience developing creative assets

  • Strong attention to detail; pixel perfect perfectionists preferred

  • Very strong animation and motion skills

  • Must have strong proficiency with Illustrator, After Effects, Google Slides, and Photoshop. Knowledge of Premire Pro is a plus.

  • Can quickly pick up and follow brand visual identities/rules, and understand how they work so you can create room for innovation between the prescribed rules

  • Up to date and knowledgable on animation trends and styles popular on social media content

  • Strong attention to detail with file organization

  • Must work well with others, both socially and in craft; must know how to format working files for easy sharing and pickup between team members, and exporting assets for easy integration with After Effects and Premiere.

  • Must be a creative problem solver; when the answer isn’t given to you, you must be able to find your own

  • Must be familiar with UI/UX design and understand how function informs great design

     

    Base salary range: $75- 95K, plus bonus potential if applicable for role.

    Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Compensation decisions are dependent on circumstances of each role
