Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.

Position

• Coordination of food and beverage services for multiple client groups in different areas within the assigned venue;
• Facilitating knowledge transfer and guaranteeing a good communication flow with the FNB team as well as with other functional areas and the venue team to ensure smooth project execution;
• Managing different stakeholders such as caterers and sponsors, liaising with specific functional areas in order to be able to help their operational planning;
• During the planning phase, double report to the FNB Cluster Coordinator as well as to the FNB Operations Manager to plan and organize the operations of the assigned venue;
• Collecting and verifying data from various functions to define the numbers for the food and beverage services for each client groups in the different spaces withing the assigned venue;
• Developing necessary operational methods to better deliver the operation;
• Sharing service policies with caterers and other stakeholder providing service;
• Participating on team meetings and activities;
• During Games Time, the candidate will report directly to the FNB Operations Manager and will be in charge of overseeing the food and beverage services for all the client groups, as well as checking the service levels delivered, helping stakeholders accessing the venue and with deliveries, controlling the numbers of meals served.

Requirements

• Capable of doing multiple tasks at the same time and prioritizing most important things;
• Adaptable, motivated, hands on and problem-solving skills ;
• Teamwork attitude;
• Able to work under pressure and to handle unexpected situations;
• English must-have, preferable Italian speaker and any other languages is a plus;
• Previous experience in events and some general knowledge of the Food & Beverage industry. Games and/or major events experience is a plus;
• Experience in similar role (2-4 years);
• Use of IT Tools: MS Office IS A MUST, Smart Sheet is a plus.
