Fanatics Collectibles Summer 2025 MBA Intern - International Expansion

Position Summary:

As a Summer MBA Intern on the Global Expansion team at Fanatics Collectibles, you will play a pivotal role in driving our international growth. This position offers a dynamic and autonomous environment where your expertise will be critical in guiding the team to achieve its global objectives. The ideal candidate must have flexibility to work across various time zones, including evening and morning calls with our international teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning and Analysis:
  • Assist in developing and implementing global expansion strategies aligned with the company's growth objectives in priority and existing markets.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential markets and assess competitive landscapes.
  • Support the creation of detailed market entry plans, including risk assessments, resource allocation, and timelines.
• Operational Execution:
  • Work alongside the SVP and Director of Global Expansion to ensure the smooth execution of growth plans, optimizing operations in new and existing markets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., commercial, marketing, product, sales, finance, tech, legal) to support the seamless execution of international expansion initiatives.
  • Assist in evaluating, establishing, and managing key commercial relationships and partnerships.
• Financial Management:
  • Contribute to the development and management of budgets for global expansion projects, ensuring the cost-effective use of resources.
  • Monitor and report on the financial performance of key aspects of Topps International commercial operations, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Performance Metrics and Reporting:
  • Assist in developing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of expansion efforts.
  • Prepare regular updates and reports for senior leadership on the progress and impact of global initiatives, including international 90-day plans.

Summer 2025 Schedule

• Program dates: Monday, June 2, 2025 – Friday, August 8, 2025
• Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week (schedules may vary based on project needs)

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing an MBA degree.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, International Relations, or a related field.
• 3-6 years of work experience in consulting, finance, strategic planning, or operations within a multinational organization.
• Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and possessing strong business acumen; proven ability to develop innovative ideas, create solutions, and implement them effectively.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines, prioritize workload, and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous environment; effective multi-tasking skills are essential.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization.
• A desire to work in a small-team, start-up environment with frequent exposure to senior leadership.

• This is a paid internship opportunity ($60.00/hour)
• Must be available to work on-site 4+ days in office (New York, NY)
• Must be able to provide own housing and transportation
• Must be available for entire 10-week program from June 2, 2025 – August 8, 2025
