Job Overview
The Fabrication Project Estimator will work within the Fabrication Department on all fabrication project estimations, tracking, and data entry. This role will be based in our Harrisburg, NC office and report to the VP of Fabrication Business Operations, Wasserman Live.
What You’ll Do
Manage internal and external project requests using project management system (ClickUp) to provide estimates on design scope
Carry out initial analysis of projects and identify labor and materials needed for pricing estimation purposes
Maintain and update quoting/estimating standards
Ensure timely completion of projects and requests and secure necessary approvals
Responsible for maintaining ClickUp with most up-to-date information
Create Post-Job reports using ClickUp and Workday
Effectively liaise, communicate and maintain good relationships with team members, contractors, and suppliers
Maintain and update inventory process for Fabrication Shop and help enforce and streamline fabrication processes
Maintain accurate records/documentation associated with assigned work
Work with team members to update plans and procedures for Fabrication
Manage expectations from internal and external stakeholders, ensuring all parties are in agreement
Actively participate in Fabrication-related meetings and provide updates to the team
What We’re Looking For
3-4 years of experience in manufacturing and fabrication
Experience with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
Great interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to be highly adaptable and agile in a fast-paced environment
Project/software management experience
Knowledge of business operations, supply chain management, and fabrication materials
