Job Title: Event Operations Freelancer
Location: London, UK
Summary:
NFL Event Operations team is looking to recruit an Event Operations freelancer for the upcoming 2026-27 season. With the exciting expansion of international games, this role will support the planning, delivery, and execution of operational overlay requirements for NFL regular season games in the UK and Europe. This role will primarily be based at the NFL UK offices (London) and will transfer to the stadiums during the week of the games. It will also include frequent travel and evening and weekend work.
We expect to offer contracts from May through December 2026.
Essential Functions:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Organise and manage planning trips at stadiums with large groups throughout planning cycle
• Develop meeting agendas, track notes/actions, and regularly update project tracker
• Week of game meeting schedule collation and distribution
• Oversee stadium wayfinding programme
• Collaborate with and support internal and external stakeholders
• Support the week of game and gameday scheduling process
• Coordinate translation services for virtual and in-person meetings
• Support with vendor procurement
Technical Experience Required:
• Educated to Degree or equivalent level
• 2-3 years experience in professional sports or event management
• Ideally experience working in a stadium or venue environment
• Good project management skills, strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail, organisation, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• An understanding of American football
Personal Attributes:
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Good report writing and presentation skills
• Experience working Internationally
• Self-starter, motivated and a team player.
• Ability to develop solutions
• Solid computer proficiency
