As an Experiential Account Director, you’ll be the driving force behind some of our most exciting experiential, retail, sponsorship and live brand experience programmes. You’ll lead key client relationships, shape strategic and creative direction, and ensure flawless delivery of best-in-class work.
This role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, commercial acumen, creative curiosity, and operational excellence - along with the leadership ability to develop and inspire a high-performing team.
This will be a hybrid role with 2 days per week spent in our Orpington office and 1 day at our Aldwych office.
What You Will Be Doing
Client Leadership
Own, nurture, and grow senior client relationships, acting as a trusted strategic advisor.
Understand client business goals, brand strategy, audiences and commercial pressures.
Lead the development of annual plans, campaign frameworks, and strategic/creative responses.
Confidently deliver ideas, proposals, strategic recommendations and performance reviews to senior stakeholders.
Oversee KPI setting, measurement frameworks, and robust campaign evaluation.
Project & Delivery Oversight
Oversee the end-to-end delivery of experiential campaigns, retail activations, sponsorship platforms, tours and live events.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to exceptional creative and operational standards.
Guide the team in translating briefs into actionable plans, inspiring idea generation and innovative thinking.
Forecast and manage potential risks, ensuring proactive solutions and client confidence.
Manage partnerships with rights holders, talent, venues and key delivery partners to maximise campaign impact.
Commercial Management
Own account profitability, forecasting and revenue planning.
Identify and convert organic growth opportunities across existing clients.
Contribute to new business pitches, providing strategic input, creative ideation, storytelling and presentation delivery.
Ensure accurate financial tracking, reporting, scopes of work and margin management across all projects.
Team Leadership
Line manage and mentor Account Managers and Executives, nurturing their development and progression.
Champion a culture of curiosity, creativity, collaboration and accountability.
Delegate effectively by recognising individual strengths and supporting team members to excel.
Ensure smooth ways of working, efficient processes and a positive, motivating team environment.
Agency Contribution
Act as an ambassador for the agency’s values, culture and creative reputation.
Collaborate closely with Creative, Strategy, Production and Operations teams to elevate work across the board.
Share industry insights, cultural intelligence and emerging trends to drive forward-thinking solutions.
Contribute to agency-wide initiatives that strengthen the team and enhance our offering.
Skills & Experience Required
8+ years’ experience in client services - ideally within experiential, brand experience, live events or integrated agency environments.
Proven strength in senior client management and building long-term, trusted partnerships.
Exceptional project and operational management skills with impeccable attention to detail.
Strong strategic and commercial thinking with an ability to connect ideas to business objectives.
A compelling communicator and confident presenter (verbal, written, and visual).
Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across strategy, creative and production.
Calm, solutions-focused and resilient under pressure in fast-paced, live environments.
Highly competent in crafting presentations, building budgets, scoping work and writing documentation.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while upholding high standards.
