Our brands and properties division works with iconic brands and rights holders, supporting business growth through all marketing disciplines. We're a trusted partner to every major league, team and venue, building meaningful connections between brands, properties and fans.

Sitting as part of an established team of passionate and expert experiential marketeers and project managers, the successful candidate will be a team leader who can hit the ground running, thrive in a high paced environment (office & on sites around the world), love to multi-task and need minimal guidance whilst bringing a wealth of expertise and recommendations from the world of Experiential.

We are seeking an experienced Director to lead the delivery of high-profile experiential activations within the American sports landscape, supporting a major global financial services client. This role sits within an integrated, international team and requires a confident leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-visibility environments.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale experiential activations, including fan zones, live sporting events, and game-day experiences.
  • Serve as a senior client lead, managing and influencing executive-level stakeholders with confidence and credibility.
  • Partner with global counterparts as part of an integrated, international team structure to ensure seamless delivery across markets.
  • Provide strong financial oversight, managing and optimising complex multi-million-dollar budgets.
  • Build, inspire, and lead high-performing teams, fostering a strong culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
  • Ensure operational excellence across multiple workstreams in demanding, high-pressure environments.
  • Travel internationally as required and operate effectively across multiple time zones.
  • Be solution focused, pushing the boundaries of creativity, whilst adhering to project and budget demands.
  • Take a lead role in bringing together campaign creation, event design, production and execution.
  • Take an integrated approach to project delivery, considering where brand activations might be able to support clients' broader marketing mix, e.g. social, partnerships, sponsorship etc.
  • Support Client Teams to integrate client briefs, asking the right questions to deliver the best results
  • Partner with Client Servicing to be client facing, offering counsel to clients, infusing with confidence to build trusted relationships.
  • Collaborate with the Insights and Creative Strategy teams to craft creative briefs which push the boundaries of experiential execution.
  • Be a fantastic, thoughtful and considered presentation deck-writer, able to take a creative idea and apply diligent, detailed thinking to ensure the response both answers the brief, but also brings the idea to life through outlining feasibility checks, considerations, consumer journeys etc.
  • Apply knowledge and best practice to support teams at both a high level, as well as willing to get stuck in and deliver end to end projects.
  • Be aware of cultural, production, operational and activation nuances at the time of briefing and deck writing and able to add value and nuggets of knowledge and best practice, drawn from experience
  • Be the backbone of seamless project delivery, identifying and drafting deliverables, key milestones and critical paths.
  • Lead project teams and work streams, including meetings, assignment of tasks and ensuring delivery to deadlines.
  • With the support of Client Servicing teams, be able to multi- task and juggle multiple opportunities and projects at any one time, shepherding them through our processes and on to delivery.
  • Impeccable financial literacy in managing project budgets; confident in finding cost efficiencies, budget tracking and reporting revenue.
  • Be an approachable source of knowledge for colleagues, providing sound advice and fostering collaborative working relationships.
  • The role will be to support the new business and leadership team in taking on both new client briefs and RFPs focusing on fielding enquiries, responding to briefs, managing new client onboarding and also onboarding account teams

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU NEED
