Job Description

In April 2022, Sportradar acquired VAIX, a company who creates deeply integrated and powerful corporate AI solutions, enabling B2C internet businesses to utilize the power of machine learning for their customers and operations.

What we do

  • VAIX creates deeply integrated and powerful corporate AI solutions, enabling B2C operators to utilize the power of machine learning for their customers and operations.
  • We are building a wide range of Machine Learning algorithms; domain-specific Recommendation engines, human behavior predictive models and Natural Language Processing model.

Our diverse team of Engineers (Software, DevOps, Q&A) work together to deliver innovative ML SaaS solutions for the iGaming industry. This is a great opportunity for you if you're eager to work on challenging problems and learn new technologies.

THE CHALLENGE

  • Be responsible for the operation of ALL databases in the organization, including development, staging and production DBs.
  • Maintain, finetune, and improve our DB Clusters of PostgreSQL and ElasticSearch.
  • Cover Admin aspects like: Security, Failover/replication, Optimization etc.
  • Cover Design aspects like: table structure, indexing, query / stored procedures design etc.
  • Explore and experiment with the latest DevOps technologies focusing on the DBs.
  • Collaborate with team members to continuously improve processes and share knowledge.

YOUR PROFILE

  • At least 2 years of working experience in database setup, finetuning, and management, focusing on PostgreSQL.
  • Advanced Linux User.
  • Knowledgeable in Cloud DB technologies, especially on the AWS ecosystem.
  • Experience with ElasticSearch and CitusDB is a plus
  • Proficient in system-level tools such as sysctl, strace, tcpdump, and iptables is a plus.
  • Knowledgeable in using iptables for server security is a plus
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
