What You’ll Do:
We are seeking a cutting edge Creative Director to create a trailblazing social media path for our top client working on content and ads for their social media channels. If you’re passionate about identifying new social trends, obsessed with product, great at identifying which partnerships can deepen a brands connection to culture, this is the right job for you. We are looking for someone with a social first background and a modern, refreshing aesthetic with a passion for culture and producing compelling work.
Partner with the account and cross-functional team leaders to manage senior level clients.
Develop and deliver thought leadership and creative solutions that strengthen clients’ visual market distinction and leadership position.
Direct creative strategy and execution.
Foment proactivity within the creative team
Continue protecting and nurturing a well-established client relationship by doing amazing day to day work, but also bringing in bonus tracks to get client motivated of what other things we could be doing
Inspire the team with where you want to take the account towards, define the creative north star and don't lose sight of that
- Motivate and inspire creative teams and serve as overall creative lead across art direction, copywriting, photography, and design.
- Direct all phases of creative work from concept through production.
- Promote creative improvement and actively contribute to a culture of innovation, excellence and accountability.
What We’re Looking For
● 3-5+ years experience in a creative leadership role providing strategic brand and business counsel to top-tier clients — ideally, creating opportunities for brands in social channels
● Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
● Leads by example, with a hands on approach to concept and craft
● The ability to develop high-level strategic creative and adjust alongside shifting goals
● A demonstrated passion for and understanding of social media and using it to solve brand/business challenges
● Success in developing big ideas that forge strong emotional connections between consumer and brand, and supporting those ideas with thorough research
● The intellectual agility to look big picture instead of day-to-day
● The charm to build relationships (internally and with clients) and collaborative leadership skills
● Strong storytelling and presentation ability
● Innate curiosity and entrepreneurial spirit
● Commitment to excellence — working nonstandard hours when necessary, anticipating issues and communicating with diplomacy, identifying emerging platforms and trends to drive innovation
Base salary range: $120-150K CAD, plus bonus potential if applicable for role.
Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Compensation decisions are dependent on circumstances of each role
