The Role:

As Copywriter for the DACH market, you’ll own customer-facing copy across acquisition, engagement, and retention channels. Working within DAZN Creative (EMEA), you’ll help define and evolve DAZN’s tone of voice locally while aligning with global brand principles. Your primary focus will be marketing and CRM communications across the customer journey, from awareness through to subscription and loyalty. You’ll also support broader campaign work across media, product, and partnerships. This role suits a confident, commercially minded writer who understands how to balance creativity with performance in a data-led sports media environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Owning copy across digital acquisition touchpoints, including paid media, landing pages, and purchase journeys
  • Writing CRM communications such as email, push notifications, onboarding, and event promotion
  • Developing promotional messaging for acquisition, retention, and upsell campaigns
  • Shaping and scaling DAZN’s tone of voice across the DACH market
  • Contributing copy for integrated campaigns across digital, OOH, print, radio, and TV
  • Writing on-product promotional copy and partnership assets, including app store descriptions
  • Supporting CTA development, marketing claims, and product feature naming
  • Acting as a copy consultant to ensure local relevance and brand consistency

What You’ll Bring:

  • Native-level German with strong English language skills
  • Experience writing engaging, performance-driven marketing copy
  • Strong attention to detail and confidence editing your own work
  • Understanding of brand tone of voice and localisation best practice
  • Passion for sport, particularly football and major European competitions
