Job Description
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
This is a warehouse position that works under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager in order to ensure the proper preparation, restoration, and repair of production elements - commonly audio, video, lighting, rigging, and/or scenic; as well as assist in Warehouse maintenance.
This position should understand the terminology used in AV rental and event production and have a basic working knowledge of operation of these elements in order to properly test for functionality as needed.
This is a part-time role requiring 24-30 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain gear and equipment in the warehouse for each
- event.
- Act as a supporting role to other departments as needed (ops,
- lighting, video, etc.)
- Warehouse maintenance and inventory
THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU NEED
- 1+ years’ experience in A/V production or related fields
- Knowledge of all aspects of production technology (i.e., audio, video,
- lighting, etc.)
- Knowledge of inventory control systems (such as Flex)
- Knowledge of safe working practice (PPE, Fall Protection, etc.)
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and
- personal services. This includes meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of production quality
- Skilled in managing work with tight deadlines
- Ability to get DOT medical card and drive 26’ box truck and
- pickup/trailer combo
- Ability to obtain forklift certification
- Ability to obtain basic first aid certification
- Ability to learn inventory tracking software (Flex)
- Ability to troubleshoot production technology
