Cargo Coordinator

Our team of hundreds of skilled experts keep Formula 1 moving. You could play a vital part as a Cargo Coordinator, to plan and coordinate the worldwide transportation of F1 freight based at our Media and Technology Centre in Biggin Hill and supporting track side for up to 12 events per season.

Reporting into the Cargo Operations Manager, you will:

• Coordinate the worldwide transportation and distribution of F1 equipment in accordance with applicable regulations and policies.
• Operate plant, including forklifts as required and when qualified to do so.
• Accurately prepare appropriate shipping documentation and declarations when required.
• Plan and manage aircraft loads to support the air charter logistics operation.
• Liaise with logistics partners and providers, including regulatory bodies when required, and maintaining positive relationships.
• Ensure continued compliance per the company's Known Consignor Security Program and security policies.
• Contribution towards and preparing reports relating to freight & sustainability.
• Maintain awareness of and be able to advise on the implications of applicable freight legislation, investigating shipping options to meet targets while ensuring compliance across the company.
• Contribution towards logistics planning and budget preparation.
• Monitor and report on work undertaken, regularly updating the Cargo Operations Manager.
• Ensure all work is undertaken safely in accordance with current best practice and H&S protocols.

Specification Essentials:

• Logistics background with a focus towards Air Charter and Event Cargo
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office suite applications
• Strong problem-solving ability
• Dangerous Goods Awareness
• Desire to gain, share and implement acquired knowledge
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Ability to travel
• Full UK/EU licence
