Job Description

Role Overview:

We're seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our expanding Betting Entertainment Tools team in Ljubljana. You'll be an integral part of a dedicated team that specializes in delivering market-leading betting solutions to a global audience of sports fans and punters. As a Business Development Manager, you'll be the driving force behind generating new revenue and expanding our client base.

 

The Challenge:

  • Product Expertise: Become an expert on our BET products, understanding their unique value propositions and how they meet the needs of our clients.
  • Compelling Presentations: Create and deliver persuasive, customized presentations that showcase BET products' benefits to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Relationship Building: Foster and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, ensuring effective communication and successful product presentations.
  • Strategic Insights: Utilize market research and data analysis to identify growth opportunities and develop strategic plans to capitalize on them.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay abreast of gaming industry trends and regulatory developments locally and internationally.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams across Sportradar to ensure seamless alignment and execution of business development strategies.
  • Event Representation: Attend trade fairs, conferences, and other commercial events as needed to represent Sportradar and promote our BET products.

 

Your Profile:

  • Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
    • A minimum of 5 years of proven success in a business development role, with leadership experience preferred.
    • Experience in digital media, technology, or brand management is a plus.
    • Experience working in a global organization is desirable but not required.
  • Key Skills & Attributes:
    • A proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
    • Experience selling B2B solutions to industry-specific clients.
    • Ability to interpret and analyze financial reports (P&L).
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Willingness to travel for client meetings, market exploration, and events.
    • Proficiency in advanced Excel functions, including data analysis, report creation, and automation using macros.
    • Previous experience with Salesforce (CRM) and Jira (project management) is advantageous.
