Birmingham County Football Association is seeking to appoint a Partnerships and Operations Manager to oversee the Site Operations Team to support in developing strong commercial relationships, growing their sponsorship portfolio and ensuring the football facility is safe, is maximised and runs like clockwork.

It is anticipated that the person appointed will have an interest in football or sport but more importantly, will also have experience in consolidating and growing a business with an emphasis on creating the right processes to positively affect revenue growth and keep the facility and site safe and legally compliant.

The salary for this role is £32,500 with additional training and an excellent range of benefits included. The contract will be for 35 hours a week and may include evening and weekend work. The role will be a combination of Office-based and Hybrid working and they may consider other flexible options and hours to suit the ideal candidate. KEY RESPONSIBILITES


Partnerships & Sponsorship

  • Identify and secure new sponsorship opportunities to support and grow our programmes and facilities and review and renew existing agreements.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with new and existing corporate partners and community stakeholders and deliver the elements of each partnership as agreed.
  • Develop commercial packages that align with business goals and deliver real value for our sponsors – both on and off site.

Operations & Revenue Growth

  • Manage and co-ordinate site operations, including managing bookings, scheduling pitch use, coordinating events and liaising with existing and new customers and key partners.
  • Develop and deliver strategies to increase secondary revenue streams (e.g. catering, merchandise, events).
  • Promote the facility to key partners, new user groups, social impact groups and the wider public to boost usage, visibility and site revenue.

Health & Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure the highest standards of health and safety and safeguarding across the facility are maintained and enhanced and enforced.
  • Maintain up-to-date policies and procedures in line with legal and organisational standards, risk assessments and overall H&S compliance including ISO 14001 and COSHH.
  • Lead by example and liaise with colleagues and customers to create a safe, secure, inclusive and welcoming environment for all users, visitors and employees and contractors.

APPLICATION PROCESS

Applicants must hold a full, clean & valid UK Driving License with Business Insurance Cover. An accepted FA DBS is also required for this role.
