English Schools FA - Council Members

The English Schools' Football Association (ESFA), the National Governing Body for football in schools, is seeking three specialist, independent advisory Members to serve on its Governing Council. They are seeking those with lived experience in one of each of the following fields:

• Women's and girls football
• Disability football
• As a participant from a group underrepresented in football by virtue of race or cultural heritage.

Could you bring your personal knowledge to help us further their plans in the area of your lived experience?  Could you give up to 6 days per year, at the weekend, to join in Council meetings, plus occasional ad hoc meetings?  If so, you can find further details about the roles here:

The ESFA is committed to the safeguarding of children and adults at risk.  Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate may be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check through The FA DBS process. The possession of a criminal record will not necessarily prevent an applicant from obtaining this post, as all cases are judged individually according to the nature of the role and the information provided. The closing date for applications is Sunday 22nd June and it is expected that interviews will take place on Saturday 12th July. Shortlisted candidates will be notified during w/c 30th June.
