We’re looking for a forward-thinking, strategically-minded technical leader to drive the next chapter of digital and product innovation at Wasserman Live. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Lead the ongoing development and evolution of web-based operating platform to enhance its capability, flexibility, scalability and to support global operations.

- Embed artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) into core business systems to improve efficiency, automate processes, and enhance output quality.
- Support the business on the integration of digital/LED/screen/AV and other technology into its core servicing offerings.
- Translate complex business needs into clear technical strategies, solution architectures, and actionable delivery roadmaps.
- Conduct build-vs-buy assessments for new capabilities; evaluate in-house resources versus outsourcing and offshore development opportunities.
- Identify, scope, and deliver robust, scalable technical solutions while managing time, cost, and quality parameters.
- Ensure seamless, secure, and scalable data and tech integration across platforms, systems, departments and global Wasserman live business units.
- Continuously streamline workflows and eliminate process inefficiencies to accelerate delivery and reduce duplication.
- Spearhead the sourcing, piloting, and integration of AI tools across creative, production, and client facing teams.
- Drive operational transformation through AI-driven automation across studio and campaign outputs.
- Remain abreast of emerging technologies and innovations, and translate relevant advancements into competitive advantage.
- Deliver structured quarterly reviews and presentations to the executive stakeholders, summarizing innovation progress, internal project updates, and developments in new and emerging technologies.
- Own and manage relationships with third-party technology and platform partners—from selection through onboarding and ongoing collaboration.
- Build and lead a high-performing internal team, including engineers, product managers, and data specialists as business needs grow.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with senior stakeholders, creatives, and commercial leaders to align innovation with vision and execution.
- Champion a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning across the technical and creative teams.
- Engage with cross-departmental teams within the wider Wasserman Group both UK and Globally.
THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU NEED
- Proven experience in leading product, engineering, or technology functions—especially in the development of digital platforms, live experience tools.
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies such as LIDAR, AI/ML, spatial mapping, creative automation, and data ecosystems.
- Strong product sensibility with a user-centric approach to building intuitive, high-impact solutions.
- Demonstrated success in sourcing and managing external technical vendors, innovation partners, or offshore development teams.
- Experience in high-growth, entrepreneurial, or startup-like environments, with the ability to scale processes and teams effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and build trust across functions.
- Track record of bridging the gap between technical, creative, and commercial teams in a collaborative and agile environment.
- Hands-on involvement with AI/creative automation platforms (e.g., generative design, AI content generation).
- Experience with mapping tools, venue or spatial technologies, or computer vision-based systems is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with live event production technologies and understanding of the audience journey before, during, and after live activations.
- Good grasp of digital channels and social media platforms as part of an integrated audience experience.
- Experience delivering high-level reports or presentations to senior leadership, with a focus on innovation, progress updates, and strategic recommendations.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills with a passion for mentoring and growing talent.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholder expectations simultaneously.
- Willingness to be primarily based in Orpington (with hybrid flexibility), and open to occasional international travel to support global initiatives and supplier relationships.
This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of technology and innovation at Wasserman Live—a global leader in creating unforgettable live experiences.
