Wasserman is looking for a motivated individual to join the Wasserman Strategy & Consulting team on the American Express account. The role will support the day-to-day management of select partnerships, strategizing integrated marketing programs across social, digital and experiential, as well as supporting broader strategic initiatives across the business to ensure client satisfaction.
What You’ll Do:
- Work closely with the Director to deliver first class client service
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with relevant stakeholders and business units, both within the client and among third parties.
- Supports the day-to-day management of select partnerships, with responsibility for crafting, executing, and measuring key social, digital, and experiential programs.
- Campaign Management – support broader team to ensure successful delivery of client campaigns – campaign planning, resourcing, multi-stakeholder management, rights delivery, reporting.
- Ability to synthesize data and research findings across and among various custom and syndicated sources to build influential storylines and presentations (e.g. strategic plans, market landscapes, valuations, etc.)
- Understands the client context at a fundamental level to be able to make strategic recommendations on sponsorship partners, contractual assets, and new opportunities.
- Proactively identifies opportunities to provide additional services to clients as well as new partnership and platform ideas that fit brand objectives and marketing principles.
- Performs various tasks as needed by internal team members such as research, reports, daily updates, editing of materials, ad hoc strategic asks etc.
- Maintains positive relationships with clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree; perfer 1-2 years of direct experience in account and project management (preferably in the sports or entertainment field).
- Preferably located in NYC and adheres to a hybrid office policy in Wasserman’s Dumbo office.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite, particularly with PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- Inane curiosity, proactive thinking and the ability to isolate key insights that will contribute to practical strategic recommendations.
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
- High level of initiative and works well independently and in a team environment.
- Must be able to multi-task and self-manage to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
- Must be flexible and comfortable to assume multiple roles as needed by the team.
- Possess exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Carries out responsibilities with minimal direction.
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
- Ability to think creatively in a team environment.
- Must be flexible and react calmly under stressful circumstances.
