The Role:

We are looking for an Associate Manager, Accounts,to join our rapidly growing team of college and youth marketing enthusiasts. As anAssociate Manager, Accounts you will actively contribute to the success of client projects, playing a key role in all disciplines from recruitment, strategic developmentmanagement, and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a clear understanding of each client’s business, marketing goals, and program objectives

  • Be part ofWNG’s Client Services team and collaborate with other disciplines such as University Relations, Media, and productionfor the development and execution of client programs

  • Create, implement and lead campus recruiting strategies at colleges and universities nationwide, effectively communicating how Wasserman Next Gen can enhance the student experience through program opportunities 

  • Leverage traditional and creative sourcing methods including research, networking, social media, event attendance, partnerships, memberships and referrals

  • Serve as the primary WNG contact for ambassadors, overseeing their training and coaching in support of program objectives

  • Track all activity in Salesforce by creating, updating and maintainingaccurate documentation of student, university and program records

  • Support daily workflow of client projects to ensure timely, economic program execution

  • Assist in development of client-facing reports by gathering qualitative and quantitative program data

  • Willing to travel and work at on-site activations

  • Participate in agency brainstorms to help develop new, creative ways to engage Next Gen consumers

  • Contribute to agency culture by actively participating in building positive internal relationships and maintaining enthusiasm toward day-to-day tasks and agency passion points

  • Perform other duties, as assigned

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or a related field

  • 0-2 years of related work experience outside of or at Next Gen, ideally with exposure to brand ambassadors, creators, events and/or experiential marketing

  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit with eagerness to learn and grow in a high energy environment

  • Values and respects the importance of organization and time management for effective multitasking

  • Customer-service focus with outstanding interpersonal, written, and oral communications skills

  • Creative thinker that is willing to travel ‘outside of the box’ for the right solution(s)

  • Self-motivated with proven ability to think quickly and problem solve

  • Innate curiosity and awareness of next generation trends and behaviors

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Experience working with Salesforce, Adobe Creative Suite, and project management tools (Asana, SharePoint, Workday, etc.) a plus
