Description
DAZN are looking to change the way the world consumes sports. To help us achieve this mission we're looking for an experienced leader to take on the newly created Activation Sr. Manager role to drive growth operations in Japan and expansion in APAC.
As a member of the Business Development team in Tokyo, you will be responsible for
managing several partners and rights holders in Japan and in Asia. You will lead the business
as well as the team by facilitating, enabling and also working with partners in order to
accelerate subscription business, engagement, loyalty and revenue. With strong organization
and project management skills, you will be required to build the strong and strategic
relationship with our partners and execute the best possible result to DAZN.

Key Responsibilities
- Make a strategy to achieve our business target to leverage each rights holder/partner
- Negotiate with all rights holders to make them understand our business and to manage them
- Maximize/optimize sponsorship packages / marketing opportunities to increase revenue/subs
- To create the attractive deck (document) for Japan/APAC, need to be data driven/number oriented
- Gain access and rights for teams and players efficiently to create engaging content (on/off platform)
- Retention of rights
- Build and enhance great relationships with each partner to grow the business not only acquisition but also ad sales.
- Enhance communication with internal and external middle management classes.

- チームや選手へのアクセスと権利を効率的に取得し、魅力的なコンテンツ( オン/オフプラットフォーム)を作成する。
- 権利の保持。
- パートナーとの素晴らしい関係を構築し、強化して、ビジネスを成長させる(取得だけでなく広告販売も含む)。
- 内部および外部の中間管理職とのコミュニケーションを強化する。
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- 3+ years' experience working in a sales and/or account management position within a media or agency environment
- Business in both Japanese and English
- Strong negotiation skill / highly communication skill
- Strategic thinking
- Data driven/number oriented
- Build a new business scheme
- Skill in producing logical and easy-to-understand materials in JP/ENG
- Deep understanding of the business
- Transparency, teamwork is key
- Maintain business balance
- Establish/maintain relationship with all departments
- Experience as Playing Manager, mentoring new grad or junior member
