Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
Position
We are looking for Village Management Coordinator.
The Village Management Coordinator will be covering a double role corresponding to two different phases as per below.
- Role in Planning Phase:
-Support the VGM and DVGM Manager in the overall coordination and tracking of the team planning progress related to the Milano Village.
-Support in the production of the cross-functional documentation, internal and external presentations.
-Support in finalizing the Policies and Procedures for Games Time.
-Function as point of integration between Village team and other Functional Areas in the provision of the content, ensuring readiness during the Games.
-Support in the cross-functional areas communication.
-Manage VIL TEAM purchase system requests. Insert requests and follow up process with purchase office.
- Role at Games Time (Olympic and Paralympic Village of Milano):
-Support to VGM and DVGM during daily operations.
-Constant Liason with Venue Communication Center (VCC) and act as filter to the VGM/DVGM
-Support VCC in tracking issues and updating IMS
Act as Night Duty manager in shifts with other Functions night duty managers
Requirements
·Proven experience in event management, large-scale operations management.
·Proven experience in project management or working with PMOs.
·Previous involvement in Olympic/Paralympic or multi-sport event environments is advantageous.
·Knowledge of Excel, Power Point is key.
·Being able to act as a team-player, work independently and to take the initiative, showing flexibility in multitasking.
·Strong leadership and team management abilities.
·Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
·Excellent English skills, and proficiency in Italian is considered key.
