Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
Position
The figure will support the Transport Design team to manage relationships with all TRA functional units, as well as other teams providing Games Services.(Possible comparisons with engineers from the Public Territorial Entities regarding the design of some publicly owned sites (stations, etc.) may be necessary.)
- Use of Adobe Suite (Illustrator) to develop, adjust and update graphics of the Olympic & Paralympictransportation plan, transportation services for stakeholders and spectators,competition and non-competition sites (venues), etc.;
- Use of CAD to process technical information, ArcGIS to geolocate the operational areasand the official accommodations of the Games in order to better plan transportation services for stakeholders as well as design of technical drawings and design of all transportation hubs of the Games (parking or loading/unloading areas at venues, remote interchange parking, train stations, depots, etc.);
Requirements
- Knowledge of design and technical criteria of transportation hubs in terms of parking areas, loading/unloading areas, pedestrian flows, etc. using urban mobility planning criteria;
- Ability to work with urgency and under pressure to adapt diagrams and technical drawings;
- Ability to organize work and autonomy in developing assigned tasks;
- Prior experience in transportation operations planning in sporting events of international interest is optimal. If not, at least prior experience in transportation systems planning/urbanismin the area of local public transportation is required;
- Experience in the fields of Engineering, Architecture or Graphic Design;
- English Level B2;
- Excellent knowledge of Illustrator and a CAD-software (Vectorworks or AutoCAD);
- Good knowledge of GIS software and Office package;
- Independent approach to graphic interpretation of technical information;
- Experience with the design of infographics is a plus;
