Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
Position
We are currently seeking a skilled Accounting Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in accounting or a related field, along with 2-3 years of experience in administrative and accounting roles. If you are detail-oriented, proficient with Microsoft Office, and enjoy working in a team environment, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, control, and record administrative and accounting documents (invoices, expense reports, financial transactions).
- Issue, input, and import active and passive invoices.
- Verify the accuracy of invoices against purchase orders from the procurement system.
- Monitor payments and collections.
- Review and ensure accuracy of accounting outputs.
- Maintain and update electronic records (chart of accounts, tables).
- Maintain and update mandatory accounting records.
- Reconcile financial and accounting accounts.
- Provide support to the team for monthly and periodic financial closing activities.
Requirements
- Diploma in accounting or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in administrative accounting roles.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Familiarity with information systems; experience with Oracle is preferred.
- Team-oriented mindset with strong organizational and time-management skills.
