Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a passionate and ambitious Trainee to join our FIBA Marketing Team as soon as possible, on a full-time basis. 
The FIBA Marketing Team is seeking an energetic and dedicated Intern to support our team with Rights Delivery & Implementation and Venue Dressing projects. This role will work across these two functional areas on various commercial projects, with opportunities to gain hands-on experience in the world of sports marketing at an international level. This position involves both remote and on-site event support, including travel throughout Summer 2025, to represent FIBA Marketing at key events. The work location shall primarily be Zug with regular travel to Mies.

Your main tasks

• Assist the team in collaborating with FIBA event hosts to deliver sponsorship programmes and ensure alignment with FIBA’s marketing standards
• Support the coordination of branding activities and the production and delivery of co-branded materials in collaboration with suppliers, agencies, and partners
• Assist in preparing detailed guidelines for event hosts and partners, outlining requirements for successful branding and sponsorship activation
• Help with the integration and delivery of Value-in-Kind items provided by FIBA Global Partners, ensuring their proper incorporation into event operations
• Provide operational support during events, both on-site and remotely, assisting with event setup, branding implementation, and addressing marketing-related issues
• Work closely with the Head of Marketing Services to support the execution of commercial projects and marketing strategies

Your profile

• You have completed a commercial apprenticeship and further training in marketing, event management or a similar field
• You have first professional experience with commercial projects, international events, and working within sports industry
• You have strong communication skills, client service mindset and excellent attention to detail
• You are able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, working under pressure, meet deadlines and you are proficient in Microsoft Office programs
• You are a team player, can also work using independently, proactive, and have a hands-on mentality
• You speak and write fluent English (C1-Level); any other languages are an advantage
• You are willing to travel throughout Summer 2025 to attend FIBA events and representing the FIBA Marketing Team
