Full Description

Purpose

As a Software Engineer II, you will contribute to the development and integration of Fanatics' Warehouse Execution System (WES) and Warehouse Control System (WCS). You will collaborate with senior engineers to build, test, and deploy software that drives warehouse
automation, material flow, and fulfillment orchestration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and maintaining real-time software for warehouse orchestration
    and execution.
  • Contribute to API development and integrations with Warehouse Management
    Systems (WMS) and material handling equipment (MHE).
  • Implement and refine event-driven architectures and microservices to support
    fulfillment workflows.
  • Support software deployments and troubleshoot issues in a fast-paced fulfillment
    environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including senior engineers, product managers,
    and operations.
  • Write and maintain clean, well-documented code following industry best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 1-3 years of experience in software development, preferably in Supply Chain, Warehouse, or Automation systems.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (C++, C#, Java, GoLang, Python, or
    similar).
  • Basic understanding of cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and distributed computing
    principles.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, and microservices.
  • Familiarity with Temporal (or other Workflow/Orchestration systems) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations such as receiving, putaway, picking, and sortation is a plus.
  • Exposure to warehouse automation, WES, WCS, or material flow control is preferred but not required.
