Your mission
PLANNING AND IMPLEMENTATION:
- Drives market‑specific strategies based on a deep understanding of local consumers, channels, and competitive dynamics across 40+ EEMEA Distribution markets in alignment with regional strategic priorities and guidance.
- Identifies and activates growth opportunities in key markets to deliver short‑ and long‑term business objectives.
- Defines and reviews sales targets for existing and new distributors in line with financial planning cycles.
COMMERCIAL EXECUTION:
- Ensures distributors execute global and regional sales initiatives effectively, closely aligned with given strategic directions and priorities.
- Provides guidance on sales execution, pricing, marketing initiatives, sponsorships, and commercial partnerships.
- Ensures international and cross‑border key account strategies are aligned with global and regional strategies in close collaboration with the key account teams.
- Collaborates closely with Marketing, Retail and E-Commerce Teams to enhance brand consistency, visibility, and brand heat across the region.
TEAM DEVELOPMENT & ENABLEMENT
- Leads, develops, and inspires the Sales Team, creating an environment in which ownership, accountability, and collaboration can thrive.
- Clearly sets goals, priorities, and expectations aligned with regional business objectives and financial targets.
- Develops team capabilities through continuous coaching, feedback, performance management and talent development.
- Ensures team members are equipped with the required tools, knowledge, and training to successfully manage distributor relationships and drive commercial results.
CONTROL:
- Ensures full compliance with PUMA’s sales, distribution and financial guidelines across all distribution markets.
- Safeguards financial exposure by ensuring appropriate payment securities are in place
- Actively manages financial risk in collaboration with the Sales and Finance Team, including credit limits and receivables.
- Provides regular, accurate, and transparent reporting on business performance, sales development, and risk exposure.
COORDINATION:
- Partner with Marketing, Merchandising, Retail, E-Commerce, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure aligned brand execution, product flow, margin management, and forecasting.
- Strong coordination between regional, cluster and local teams as well as distribution partners to ensure the provided strategy is implemented and programs executed.
Your talent
EDUCATION:
- University degree or equivalent professional experience.
EXPERIENCE:
- Proven experience in international sales or business development within branded consumer goods.
- Strong exposure to distribution and export markets; sports, lifestyle, or fashion industry experience preferred.
- Demonstrated success in leading teams and managing complex, multi‑market environments.
CAPABILITIES:
- Strong leadership, organizational and decision-making skills
- A structured, self-driven, and solution-oriented working style with a strong focus on execution and impact.
- Proven interpersonal, presentation and facilitation abilities to operate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience of developing strong relationships, communicating across a wide variety of networks
SPECIALIZED SKILLS:
- Strong analytical, commercial and financial acumen.
- Solid proficiency in standard business systems and Windows‑based applications.
- Very good command of spoken and written English
- French proficiency a benefit
