Your mission
As Team Head Sales Operations, you will lead Sales Operations support across all PUMA’s Accounts, enabling revenue growth, profitable execution and customer value creation. Acting as a senior commercial partner to Account leaders, driving profitable revenue growth by translating commercial strategy into effective sales operations, insight-led decision making, and scalable ways of working across accounts.
Key Responsibilities (Sales/Commercial Aligned)
Lead and develop a high-performing Sales Operations team that enables sales effectiveness and account performance
Partner with Account Team Heads to drive account planning, forecasting, prioritisation and execution
Enable profitable growth by supporting full-account P&L thinking in collaboration with Finance and Sales leadership
Own Sales Operations focus areas including Direct Deliveries, VAS, Purchasing and Sustainability, ensuring they support commercial outcomes
Drive sales insight and performance management, embedding data literacy, standard KPIs and consistent reporting across accounts
Align data and reporting consistencies
Establish and maintain a consistent and trusted view of performance by working with Sales, Finance and Supply Chain (driving a single source of truth), building on existing reporting frameworks and commercial visibility
Improve sales efficiency by simplifying processes, reducing non-value-adding activity and removing friction for customers and sales teams
Shift reporting from retrospective to forward‑looking insight, using forecasting and proactive, decision‑led analytics. Strengthening forecast modelling and financial planning alignment to support informed commercial decisions
Reinforce collaboration through consistent commercial and operational planning frameworks
Identify opportunities for efficiency, capacity release and automation, building on workload analysis, process reviews and tool optimisation
Champion sales tools, technologies and ways of working that improve pipeline quality, planning accuracy and decision-making
Support the evolution of reporting and analytics towards more forward-looking insight and forecasting, extending existing planning and modelling approaches
Lead workload analysis, process reviews, and tool optimisation initiatives
Deliver clear commercial insights and performance updates to senior leadership and global stakeholders
Ensure insight is embedded into decision-making and governance, strengthening the link between performance visibility, commercial decisions and execution
Supporting clear commercial operating ways of working (weekly, monthly, quarterly) with cross-functional planning frameworks
Your talent
- Proven senior Sales Operations or commercial leader with strong understanding of sales strategy and execution.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to connect activity to revenue, margin and customer value.
- Highly analytical and confident translating sales data into clear recommendations and actions.
- Influential communicator with executive presence and strong cross‑functional stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced Excel capability; Power BI or similar sales analytics tools highly desirable.
