Main goal
The Financial Sustainability & Research Manager works hand in hand with the division director and the chief of the Intelligence Centre providing support for strategic projects, analyzing financial performances and metrics, and proposes new initiatives to meet UEFA's strategy and service objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Supporting the division director in the strategic coordination of the various units;
- Supporting the division director by leading ad-hoc strategic projects;
- Analysing financial data and establishing relevant financial metrics;
- Building and operating models that demonstrate scenarios considered relevant to strategic projects;
- Identifying and qualifying new strategic data sources to support balanced research for senior UEFA decision-making and policy-making;
- Proposing new initiatives to meet strategy and service objectives;
- Servicing strategic research requests from stakeholders;
- Collecting and analysing data to document the landscape of European football;
- Writing reports autonomously, with supporting documentation and data, for presentation to senior management.

Skills & Requirements
Requirements
Experience:
- At least 5 years working with sports organisations, directly or within an advisory role, and experiencing how they operate
- More than 7 years financial experience, including front of office work
Education:
- Degree in a relevant field
- Additional relevant post-graduate qualifications would be an asset
Languages:
- English: Fluent
- French: Fluent an advantage
- Other languages an advantage
Other requirements:
- Strong interest in football is a must
- Good knowledge of the sports stakeholder landscape
- Very strong financial planning, modelling and analytical skills
- Probability and statistical skills
- Advanced financial dashboards capabilities
- Ability to lead and manage projects independently and efficiently
- Ability to collate information and create a coherent overview
- Ability to solve problems and work quickly and accurately
- Good public-speaking skills
- Very good ICT skills (Excel, business intelligence tools)
- Willingness to travel
