WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You will report to the NDS Planning Director. You will work closely with Merch financial planner, In Season Analysts and Allocators within the same team to achieve revenue, margin, and inventory objectives for the current season. You will collaborate cross-functionally with the Marketplace Supply Chain, Store operations, Store field teams, Real state teams, Inventory Operations and Enterprise Business Planning / Performance Operations teams.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The Demand and Supply Management (DSM) team is responsible for ensuring every Nike athlete can access the product they want when they want it. We are a dynamic team that focuses on collaboration and integration with a strong end-to-end mindset.

We are looking for a Location planner to Develop store-level revenue and inventory plans and deliver store concept intent and Consumer x FoP store strategy. 

Drive and execute store-level plans to maximize productivity, profitability, and efficiency.

The candidate must have the ability to concisely present complex information / recommendations in meaningful terms to various audiences and has a deep understanding of how to use data to drive decisions and communicate business needs effectively.

Demonstrated experience in Store/ Location planning and understanding of retail, financial, product and inventory planning.  Strong understanding of merchandise consumer, and FoP as it relates to Nike Direct strategy.

You will need to have the following skills to be successful in this role

  • 1 Year + retail planning experience in a vertical or wholesale environment

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in disciplines such as Business

  • Confidence in using Microsoft Office Suite, with knowledge in Excel. Desired: Cognos BI tool, Tableau

  • English 85%

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, along with ability to work in deadline driven environment

  • Interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate successfully across teams

  • Competence to understand retail KPI’s, with the ability to use data and analytics to identify critical information on commercial drivers and managing large date sets

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

  • Develop forward looking by-store business division sales and inventory forecasts that hit budget or forecasts.

  • Maintain optimal store capacities, and weeks-of supply by delivering receipt unit, and open-to-ship targets to allocation

  • Manage store clustering to group like stores for cross functional partners to better influence merchandising assortment decisions

  • Partner with business planning on weekly, and monthly revenue, receipt and inventory plans to improve store productivity, profitability and in-store efficiencies through better product flow

  • Influence store-level labour plans by providing monthly revenue and receipt plans
