Job Title: Senior Manager, Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
Reports to: Vice President of Finance
About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Corporate FP&A to join our finance team. This role will be responsible for managing financial planning, analysis, and reporting related to corporate overhead cost centers and headcount. You will work closely with the executive leadership team to provide strategic insights, manage budgets, and deliver on key financial metrics. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in FP&A, including management experience, and expertise in cost rationalization and headcount reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the FP&A function for corporate overhead cost centers, overseeing the planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of operating expenses.
- Manage and drive headcount planning and reporting, working closely with HR and business leaders to ensure alignment with corporate goals.
- Collaborate with senior leadership, including the executive team, to provide key financial insights and strategic recommendations.
- Develop and manage the annual budgeting process, ensuring that all overhead costs are accurately forecasted and aligned with business objectives.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of corporate cost structures, identifying opportunities for cost rationalization and efficiencies.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, highlighting variances and trends for senior leadership.
- Lead ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting for special projects or strategic initiatives.
- Oversee and mentor a team of financial analysts, fostering their development and ensuring high performance.
- Maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, providing support and guidance on financial matters.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in corporate FP&A, with at least 3 years in a management role.
- Proven experience in cost rationalization and headcount reporting.
- Strong experience partnering with executive teams and providing strategic financial insights.
- Deep knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and reporting.
- Ability to lead and develop a high-performing team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Highly proficient in Excel; experience with financial planning software and ERP systems; Oracle is a plus.
