Full Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions, including custom applications, workflows, and integrations.
- Collaborate with product management and business partners to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform system administration tasks, including scheduling and completion of platform maintenance, user management, and other duties as assigned.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides.
- Following prescribed SDLC process to align with compliance commitments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the ServiceNow platform and applications as needed
- Stay current with ServiceNow best practices and industry trends to ensure the platform is optimized and up to date.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers and other team members.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with a strong focus on ITSM and ITOM modules.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing custom applications and integrations on the ServiceNow platform.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, including data model, security, and scripting.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified Application Developer, Certified Implementation Specialist) are highly desirable.
- Experience developing and designing RESTful services and APIs.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with other platforms.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience developing in a CI/CD environment
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
- Familiarity with other ITSM tools and platforms.
- Experience with one or more front-end development frameworks, such as Angular, React, Vue, etc.
- Experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS or Azure)
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
