WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

As a TEAM, we regularly interact with Finance and Technology partners globally. It is our responsibility to partner with program, product and engineering peers to ensure we are aligning appropriate technology outcomes with prioritized product initiatives. Beyond our team, collaboration with other global engineering teams, business stakeholders, and technical peers to ensure solutions delivered by our team is essential. You will also work directly with our Global Accounting squad, mentoring and helping develop technical talent aligned with current Nike technology standards. You will regularly engage with the engineers on our collaborative squad to plan and deliver outcomes where financial service, security, reliability and performance globally at scale are expected.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for an outstanding Software Engineer to be part of our Global

Accounting and Expenditure engineering Team! The primary role on the team is to provide

technology solutions through integrated business processes while working to elevate engineering practices and team capability. This technical role will also help improve the technical aptitude of the team through pairing, config reviews, innovation time and design discussions. The candidate needs to have experience, and an understanding of SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling, and related Configurations. A learning mindset, excellent analytical skills, and strong written and verbal communication are essential. A healthy TEAM culture is important to us.   • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent combination
  • of education and experience
  • 7+ years of Configuration experience in SAP Financial Accounting and
  • Controlling (FICO)
  • Knowledge of SAP FI integration with other modules like Materials Management (MM)
  • and Sales and Distribution (SD)
  • Experience in SAP Central Finance(cFIN) and S/4HANA is desirable
  • Ability to absorb sophisticated technical information and communicate effectively to
  • both technical and business audiences
  • Strong Agile practice experience with Scrum
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
  • Comfortable working with globally distributed and diverse teams
  • Comfortable attending meetings with partners across multiple global locations
  • Comfortable supporting local initiatives growing Nike India Technology presence
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to effectively
  • communicate with both business and technical teams

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

Your primary role on the team will be to our Global Accounting squad navigate technical design and configuration changes in SAP. This is a hand's-on role, doing system configuration with implementation of multiple business requirements within the SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling(FICO). You will help design, build, test, deploy and maintain our technology. You will also help ensure we are delivering sustainable technology by doing peer reviews and providing technical direction. You will actively participate with engineering resources to support product outcomes.
