We are seeking a motivated Software Engineer with a passion for Unreal Engine to help us build the next generation of our configurator and product visualization initiatives
As a Software Engineer with Unreal Engine expertise, you will play a crucial role in driving the technical vision and strategy for our configurator and product visualization initiatives. You will work closely with our principal and lead engineers to optimize processes, generate proper unit tests, and ensure seamless data exchange between systems
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for a skilled Software Engineer with experience in Unreal Engine and a background in working with web APIs and asynchronous code. You should have a good understanding of 3D graphics and rendering techniques, as well as experience with software development best practices and version control systems.
3+ years of professional or significant project-based experience in software development.
A solid foundation in C++ programming.
Demonstrable experience with or a strong passion for learning the Unreal Engine framework.
Familiarity with software development best practices, including version control systems (e.g., Git).
A problem-solving mindset and a desire to learn and grow your technical skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred:
Experience with 3D pipeline development or tool creation.
Familiarity with asynchronous programming concepts.
Previous experience working with web APIs.
Exposure to automated testing or CI/CD pipelines.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
As a Software Engineer, you will be an essential part of our development team, contributing to the core functionality of our 3D applications. You will have the opportunity to grow your skills by working alongside senior and lead engineers to tackle complex challenges. Your work will directly impact the performance, features, and user experience of our innovative visualization tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain high-quality C++ code within the Unreal Engine environment.
Collaborate with the team to integrate web APIs and external data into our applications.
Assist in implementing and optimizing asynchronous code to ensure a smooth and efficient application performance.
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of unit tests for applications built in Unreal Engine.
Work with senior engineers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Unreal Engine and C++.
Participate in code reviews and team discussions to enhance our applications and development processes.
