WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You will be part of the Supply Chain and Planning Technology organization and collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders. You will work closely with teams implementing and maintaining the o9 platform, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards. Additionally, you will engage with other Global Technology teams to align on both organizational and individual development goals.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
As a Software Engineer for the Supply Chain and Planning Technology team, you will be part of a mission critical team focused on building a high-throughput, low-latency, fault-tolerant supply chain platform that drive Nike’s Digital transformation and growth strategies.
2-4 years of hands-on experience as an o9 configuration expert.
Strong expertise in an o9 implementation project/post-go-live, feature implementations. Should have been part of full cycle implementation preferably in the retail, apparel, and fashion sectors
Experience working in a highly collaborative, multi-discipline development team environment
Expertise to configure, analyze and troubleshoot using the o9 SCS solver (mandatory)
Practical knowledge of supply planning processes such as Distribution Planning, Purchase Planning, and Allocation Planning. Preferably familiar with retail planning processes in the apparel and fashion sectors.
Proficiency in configuring o9 widgets on the platform and creating intuitive workflows.
Advanced skills in data manipulation using IBPL queries and SQL.
Experience conducting user training sessions, writing test scenarios, and executing them. Familiarity with tools like JIRA and ALM is advantageous.
Familiarity with handling large datasets and working knowledge of programming languages like Python, PySpark, or HQL is beneficial.
Working knowledge of Scrum and agile principles
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
Comfortable working with globally distributed and diverse teams
Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or other relevant subject area, or equivalent experience.
The following would be nice-to-have:
Certification and completion of o9 academy courses on o9 config2.0 (preferably with hands-on experience), mandatory basic and advanced SCS solver courses, and supply planning reference model courses.
Ability to triage and debug batch failures using o9 log screens and to identify and fix data flow and logical flaws within the o9 platform using IBPL.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
As a Software Engineer II in the SCPT organization, you will play a key role in configuring and optimizing the O9 platform to support Nike’s Multi Node Inventory Planning (MNIP) initiatives. You’ll work on building scalable workflows and intuitive user interfaces using O9 widgets, enabling smarter supply chain decisions across digital and in-store channels.
You will:
Configure O9 widgets and workflows to support Distribution, Purchase, and Allocation Planning processes.
Implement and debug O9 SCS solver configurations to improve planning accuracy and performance.
Develop and troubleshoot Python and PySpark plugins for data processing within the O9 platform.
Use IBPL queries and SQL to manipulate and validate large datasets across connected systems.
Triage and resolve batch failures using O9 log screens and platform diagnostics.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver planning capabilities.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos.
Stay current with O9 Academy certifications, including Config 2.0, SCS Solver, and Supply Planning Reference Models.
Support post-go-live enhancements and feature rollouts for MNIP and related supply chain capabilities.
