THE POSITION
These are your key tasks:
- Workforce Strategy & Planning
- Support the strategic planning and oversight of Workforce operations across all FIFA tournaments and events, including the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027, Youth Tournaments, Olympics, Beach Soccer, and Futsal
- Lead end-to-end Workforce Planning and delivery for FIFA Staff and Freelancers
- Develop and implement efficient Workforce processes, continuously improving workflows as needed
- Contribute to overall Workforce strategy, calendar planning, and budget input
- Workforce Operations & Management
- Oversee key people operations processes including recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, compliance, and systems
- Manage logistics and operational requirements, such as ticketing, office setup, internal communications, and event-time services (e.g. rewards, certificates, final match celebrations)
- Coordinate with HR and leadership on sensitive personnel matters
- Provide guidance and support to Workforce Managers
- Policy, Compliance & Communication
- Draft and communicate policies and procedures to ensure a consistent and positive workforce experience during events
- Establish and communicate a centralised Workforce List to serve as the single source of truth for planning and access to data
- Lead change management processes to support continuity in planning and execution
- Define Workforce Service Levels and contribute to the development of an entitlement’s matrix
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g. Accommodation, Travel, Transport) to prioritise Workforce needs
- Collaborate closely with the Freelancer, Uniforms, and Event Controlling teams to support key deliverables
- Maintain alignment with country-specific people practices while ensuring global consistency
- Technology & Innovation
- Provide input into the development and optimisation of Workforce technology tools and platforms
- Support digital transformation efforts to enhance Workforce efficiency and communication
- Project Leadership
- Lead special Workforce-related projects as required

The specific competencies we require for this position are:
- 5+ years in workforce management, ideally in major events or large organizations
- Proven track record in administering workforce related projects across complex quantity structures both from initial planning through to operational delivery
- Strong skills in project management, budgeting and event planning
- Ability to motivate teams, manage complex tasks, and anticipate challenges.
- Fluent in English; additional FIFA languages are a plus
- Experience with workforce management systems and MS Office tools
- Willingness to travel before and during events.
