Job Description

Are you someone who loves to work at the intersection of culture and creators?
Laundry Service seeks a senior strategist who will help us lead this effort by putting creators, influencers and their fans at the forefront of all they do. You will know their wants, needs and motivations. Specifically, you'll analyze data, trends and derive insights to guide social campaigns for leading brands collaborating with creators and influencers. You should live and breathe the creator economy and internet culture, be well-versed in briefing creative teams, building rollout and comms plans, competitive analysis and audience research. Most importantly, you are a team player who is comfortable getting in the weeds and can also lead projects and teams.

Please note this a short term position with an end date of December 20, 2024

Responsibilities:

  • Be passionate about your POV on behalf of creators, their fans and brands – continuously feed the thinking of the team and client through trend updates, the latest in digital and social, best in class talent partnerships, and just about anything that can get an interesting conversation going on the brand challenge at hand
  • Derive sharp insights from disparate data sources, ensuring actionability and relevance for brand opportunities
  • Partner with creative teams to build breakthrough campaign work that forges strong emotional connections between the brand and the consumer through creators across channels
  • Develop strong relationships and rapport with clients, instilling confidence in agency work and support
  • Drive thoughtful and strategic innovation and challenge clients and teams to think outside the box by way of platforms, creators and ways of understanding data

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of work history in influencers marketing and creator economy + social – brand, agency or platform, or preferably a combination thereof
  • Must have agency experience in a role on a team crafting social and digital strategies for a range of consumer brands.
  • Strong communication and writing skills – you can easily express thoughts and insights in a simple manner
  • Client-facing expertise – you have the ability to clearly present and articulate work to both internal and external teams
  • You're a creative storyteller – you bring not just data and research but conceptual ideas to the table
