Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend services using Node.js with TypeScript
- Build scalable APIs and microservices aligned with high availability and performance
- Work with cross-functional teams including frontend, DevOps, and QA
- Write clean, maintainable code with solid unit test coverage
- Ensure code quality through code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and logging
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Backend: Node.js (ExpressJS, NestJS, or Fastify), TypeScript
- Databases: DynamoDB, DocumentDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL
- Messaging & Streaming: SNS, SQS, Kinesis
- Cloud: AWS (Lambda, ECS, EC2, API Gateway, RDS)
- Caching: Redis
- CI/CD: GitHub Actions
- Experience with alternatives like MongoDB, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure/GCP is a plus
What We’re Looking For
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript
- Hands-on experience in designing RESTful APIs and microservices
- Exposure to AWS cloud services
- Familiarity with Agile development and DevOps practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ownership mindset
