The Football Association have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Partnerships Manager
You'll be responsible for the partnership management and rights delivery for select partners of The FA. You'll also be the lead relationship holder and hold overall accountability of assigned accounts.
The FA's partnership portfolio is one of the largest in global sport and we are proud to partner with leading brands such as Nike, EE, Emirates, Adobe, M&S Food, Chase and many more across FA properties, such as England Men's, Women's and Para and Disability Teams; The Emirates FA Cup and The Adobe Women's FA Cup; England Football (grassroots), Wembley Stadium connected by EE and St. George's Park.
Success in this area has been achieved by building world-class strategic partnerships, driving and maximising commercial value, building exceptional relationships with partners, providing thought leadership on rights planning and activations, demonstrating expertise and delivery in performance marketing and data performance and developing and managing high-performing partnership management teams.
What will you be doing?
- Oversee strategic management of assigned partner accounts, ensuring effective delivery of rights across the various FA properties and supporting partners' marketing activations and campaigns
- Lead and oversee season planning, organisation, and delivery of a variety of partner related events and activity; ensuring partnership activations are measured effectively and align with partnership objectives
- Act as a trusted advisor to commercial partners, providing strategic guidance on rights usage and marketing activations
- Proactively manage and be responsible for partner budgets
- Develop and maintain exceptional relationships with commercial partners and internal stakeholders
- Identify recommendations to drive growth, value and new opportunities across partner accounts
- Demonstrate protection and guardianship of FA properties, as appropriate
- Proactively manage and develop direct reports within team, to ensure first-class management and delivery to our commercial partners and aid their professional development
- Support the Partnerships Leads, Head of Partnerships and Sales team on new partner development, renewals and onboarding when required
- Demonstrate good data and analysis skills and performance marketing knowledge.
- Executes additional tasks as required in order to meet FA Group's changing priorities.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of health, safety and well-being can be maintained.

What are we looking for?
Essential for the role:
- Experience in fast paced commercial marketing environment within the sports industry
- Strong partnership delivery / project management experience, including knowledge and expertise across 360-marketing campaigns
- Strong management skills and emotional intelligence
- Experience of working with leading brands across multiple sectors
- Ability to build trust and work collaboratively in a cross-functional delivery model
- Ability to develop and manage high-performing teams and first-class delivery
Beneficial to have:
- Solid understanding of partnership measurement techniques and developments
- Experience in planning or delivering multiple partnership activations and campaigns in a brand, agency or rights holder environment
- Experience of working on high-profile sports properties
- Project management and planning skills
