Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Media Manager to lead the development, execution, and optimisation of performance-led digital media campaigns. The ideal candidate will bring 4-5+ years of experience in performance marketing, with proven expertise across Meta, TikTok, and Google platforms.

This position offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of digital marketing and sport, within a fast-scaling agency focused on global sponsorship activations. The role is suited to a results-driven individual with a strong strategic mindset and a desire to operate in a high-growth, high-performance environment.

Our team merges digital expertise with data and sport to build impactful marketing solutions that elevate fan engagement. We are a globally distributed group of specialists redefining how brands activate in the sponsorship space.

The Senior Media Manager will lead and oversee the paid media team and collaborate closely with Account Leads to ensure media strategies align with client objectives. This includes campaign planning, delivery, optimisation, and post-campaign analysis. The individual will act as the strategic link connecting client objectives to media performance outcomes.

This role reports directly to the Senior Director and serves as a key lead in delivering against business objectives. We are looking for candidates with a media agency background that are looking to drive impact in the sports and entertainment sector.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Core Responsibilities:

Performance Strategy Ownership

  • Lead cross-platform paid media strategy (Meta, TikTok, Google, etc.).
  • Align media planning with business goals and performance KPIs.
  • Expand client scopes by identifying new media opportunities.
  • Refine and scale the performance marketing proposition internally and externally.
     

Campaign Oversight & Execution

  • Manage end-to-end digital campaign delivery, from planning to analysis.
  • Own budget allocation, pacing, targeting, creative deployment, and optimisation.
  • Ensure tracking accuracy and alignment with campaign objectives.
     

Data, Reporting & Analytics

  • Direct dashboard development and integrate insights with business implications.
  • Translate performance data into clear, actionable insights for planning and decision-making.
  • Management of Cost of Sale by ensuring accurate, timely forecasting and tracking of all media budgets.
     

Client Management & Integration

  • Serve as strategic link between paid media team and Account Leads.
  • Build audience segments in Salesforce for use across owned and paid channels.
  • Evaluate dashboard data and deliver strategic recommendations to clients.

Internal Collaboration & Enablement

  • Partner with stakeholders to activate digital sponsorship rights and build activation frameworks.
  • Contribute to defining contract terms for performance marketing scopes.
  • Educate teams and clients on data use, privacy, and cookieless strategies.
  • Manage billing processes to ensure financial compliance with client expectations.
     

Innovation & Market Awareness

  • Track media, data, and privacy developments to inform strategy.
  • Embed future-facing approaches into campaign planning.
  • Lead media input for pitches and new business proposals.

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU NEED

  • Minimum of 4-5+ years’ experience in a performance marketing role, preferably in an agency or e-commerce environment.
  • Hands-on expertise in Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, and Google Ads, with a track record of delivering measurable results.
  • Experience building and managing end-to-end media plans, including budget allocation, pacing, targeting, and creative coordination.
  • Strong understanding of client KPIs, funnel strategies, and media metrics across different objectives.
  • Proven ability to analyse campaign performance and translate findings into optimisations and strategic recommendations.
  • Skilled in preparing and delivering clear, concise reports and presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to gain confidence and build strong relationships.
  • Strategic mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience working with attribution models, media mix insights, and insight analysis to guide strategic marketing decisions.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously across regional and global markets.
  • Proven experience in managing team members and supporting their professional development goals.
