Senior Manager Transportation Excellence (12-Month Replacement)

Purpose of the Role

We are looking for a Senior Manager Transportation Excellence to join our team on a 12-month replacement / fixed-term contract. This role plays a key part in improving and optimizing our transportation network in Chile, supporting our supply chain operations across retail, e-commerce, and wholesale channels.
The ideal candidate will bring strategic thinking, operational expertise, and a hands-on approach to lead improvement initiatives, manage key projects, and enhance service levels, cost efficiency, and sustainability across the network.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead and execute transportation improvement projects across Chile.
• Identify gaps in systems and processes and develop tactical and strategic plans to address them.
• Improve transportation KPIs including speed, cost, OTIF, and sustainability.
• Support the design and implementation of IT tools for transportation management.
• Manage tenders and vendor selection processes in collaboration with Global Procurement.
• Track performance through metrics and dashboards, and lead continuous improvement efforts.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment and effective execution.
• Contribute to budgeting processes and cost-saving initiatives across a €3M transportation spend.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) are an advantage.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in transportation or supply chain management (consulting experience welcome).
• Fluent in English.
• Strong analytical, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Contract Details

• Contract Type: Fixed-term. According to internal oportunities and individual performance, you would be considered and prioritized as an internal candidate for temporary and permanent open positions. 
• Replacement Duration: 12 months
• Location: Vitacura and Pudahuel, Chile
