Full Description
Summary: We are seeking a versatile leader to oversee the Manufacturing Project Management team, accountable for delivery of production projects, delivering end-to-end programs as we transform digital files into large-scale releases. Managing a team of project managers, you will support the delivery of approximately 300 sports card program releases annually. Your mandate is to ensure everything from flagship products to small-run projects meets our goal of 100% on-time delivery with quality that will delight our collectors.
What you will be doing…
- Manage and scale the Project Management team accountable for delivery of programs across the portfolio
- Serve as the primary point of contact for issue resolution, decision-making, and progress tracking during the production lifecycle across all releases
- Initiate and drive process improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency at scale.
- Collaborate with Operations Planning to prioritize product processing, manage engineering backlog, scheduling, and file delivery to printers.
- Serve as the key operational point of contact for communications from Product Development, BOM, Pre-Press, Topps Project Management, Auto/Relic Operations leaders from across the business
- Provide regular updates on product progress to executive leadership, escalating and providing mitigation strategies when items are off schedule
- Proactively address urgent production challenges, partnering with Brand, Product, Operations Planning, and Production teams to develop effective solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Product, Tech, Manufacturing, Pre-Press, and Engineering leaders and project teams.
What you will bring…
- 3+ years managing teams, with proven success developing talent.
- 5-7 years of experience, with a preference for Project Management, Operations, Management Consulting, or Manufacturing roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, accounting or similar. MBA Preferred.
- Strong quantitative modelling & analytical skills, excellent written & verbal communication skills, strong financial acumen.
- Strong track record for creative problem solving, including synthesis of large data sets and upleveling issues to executive suite.
- Proven success managing multiple projects from initiation to delivery.
- Strong critical thinking and organizational skills, with a commitment to continuous learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of engaging cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Mastery in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) with a history of data synthesis, and upleveling findings into executive level presentations.
- On-site presence in Sunnyvale, TX (5 days/week).
- Proactive self-starter with a team-first mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and effectively prioritize tasks.
- Spanish proficiency preferred, but not required.
