Full Description

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):
    • Lead the FP&A function for the WinCraft division, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
    • Develop and maintain financial models (including labor models) and metrics to assess business performance, identify trends, and support strategic decision-making.
    • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on comprehensive financial analysis and market insights.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
    • Coordinate the annual budgeting process for wholesale operations, collaborating with department heads to establish financial targets and priorities.
    • Prepare accurate and timely forecasts, incorporating changes in market conditions, business strategies, and operational dynamics.
    • Monitor budget performance and financial metrics, identifying variances and opportunities for optimization.
  • Financial Reporting:
    • Oversee the preparation and distribution of financial reports for the WinCraft segment, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
    • Present financial results, key performance indicators, and analysis to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
    • Streamline financial reporting processes and enhance data integrity to support informed decision-making and drive business performance.
  • Strategic Planning Support:
    • Collaborate with WinCraft business leaders to support the development and execution of strategic plans, initiatives, and investments aligned with organizational goals.
    • Conduct financial evaluations of potential opportunities, including mergers, acquisitions, and new market expansions, to assess feasibility and potential impact.
    • Provide support and analysis to senior leadership during strategic decision-making processes, evaluating risks and opportunities to maximize value.
  • Risk Management and Compliance:
    • Assist in identifying and managing financial risks associated with wholesale operations, including credit risk, market risk, and regulatory compliance.
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies and controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
    • Stay informed of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices, supporting senior leadership in understanding potential impacts and implications.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate closely with other functional areas such as sales, marketing, operations, and supply chain to align financial objectives with wholesale business strategies.
    • Serve as a finance partner to internal stakeholders, providing financial expertise, insights, and support to drive operational excellence and business growth.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing within the finance team and across the organization.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities:

  • Trusted advisor for Finance, Sales, Operations and Accounting partners across multiple geographies and disciplines.
  • Ability to influence in a complex matrix environment with limited direct reporting authority.
  • Strong business analytics skills with a proven business acumen.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to synthesize complex data and develop innovative solutions.
  • Understanding of Compliance Matters.
  • Excellent project management and presentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Management responsibility, preferred. 
  • Substantial experience in finance roles within wholesale operations, labor modeling, demonstrating a solid understanding of financial principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis techniques, with the ability to generate actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills, capable of synthesizing complex financial data into clear and concise reports and presentations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and other relevant tools to support financial analysis, reporting, and decision-making processes.
