The Role
We are looking for a Live Sites Producer to join our fantastic City Activations team, and contribute to the success of a globally significant event, working within a collaborative, fast-paced team committed to delivering excellence across the city of Glasgow.
Job Summary:
As Live Sites Producer, you will lead the end-to-end production, planning and operational readiness of the Kelvingrove Park Live Site, bridging creative programme delivery with robust operational planning and Games-time execution.
Working alongside the Live Sites Lead, you will act as the central point of coordination, responsible for shaping the Live Site programme and daily rhythm, integrating operational requirements across Glasgow 2026 functional areas, and managing the interface with the appointed turnkey delivery partner.
In this role you will be shaping and delivering a coherent, high-quality Live Site experience from early planning through to Games-time delivery. Bringing together programme development, operational planning and live site leadership, you will ensure that creative ambition is translated into a safe, well-managed and engaging public event.
During the Games, this role will be site-based as the senior OC presence, leading live coordination, managing issues in real time and maintaining the overall quality, flow and audience experience of the site.
Key Skills and Experience:
To be successful in this role you will bring proven experience delivering large-scale outdoor events such as festivals, live sites, or major public events, alongside strong operational planning and project management skills in complex, multi-stakeholder environments. You will demonstrate the ability to integrate programme, production, and operations within live public settings, and have worked effectively with turnkey or embedded delivery partners in a client or oversight role. You will possess excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, and the ability to remain calm, decisive, and collaborative in live operational environments, with a willingness to be site-based during the Games period.
Although not essential, experience within major sporting events or multi-venue programmes, understanding of city operations, licensing, statutory approvals, public space delivery, and awareness of best practices in accessibility, inclusion, and spectator experience will be advantageous.
