Full Description

We are seeking a Director, Creative Operations to build out our creative studio and processes from brief through delivery, leveraging efficient operating systems across omni channel work streams. The Director, Creative Operations is a critical operational thought partner to the Sr Design Director, Marketing Ops Director as well as all integrated and cross functional teams to ultimately optimize consumer experience and engagement. The ideal candidate has a passion for performance marketing, is well versed in the digital products space with a deep understanding of best practices in creative and digital production. This role requires an avid problem solver who thrives in an innovative, integrated environment with a one-team mindset.

Responsibilities 

  • Oversee and operationalize studio projects from brief through delivery 
  • Project manage all projects via Airtable, ensuring data is kept up to date at all times. 
  • Design Airtable systems in partnership with Marketing Ops, with the goal of dynamic yet functional project management from intake through completion.
  • Develop Studio toolkits and templates alongside Sr Director, Design to facilitate ease of production at scale. 
  • Resource manage and plan based on immediate needs, forecasting allocation and gaps for upcoming priorities, including freelancers and agencies. 
  • Define workflows and best practices for the creative and digital production ecosystem 
  • Ensure adherence to data asset management processes to facilitate efficient audits
  • Run Weekly creative studio meetings to ensure all designers and writers are clear on priorities
  • Run Daily marketing stand ups to ensure alignment with stakeholders on briefs and timelines
  • Lead training sessions for onboarding of new team members and implementation of processes.
  • Manage legal and compliance reviews between creative and cross-functional partners
  • Keep abreast of regulatory protocols to ensure state compliance across all deliverables. 
  • Partner closely with brand and design leaders to ensure brand cohesiveness across assets
  • Problem solve any blockers alongside internal stakeholders 
  • Key functional partners include Design, Copy, Brand Strategy, Marketing Ops, CRM, Promo Ops, Product Design, Channel marketing teams. 
  • Reports to VP, Marketing Operations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Digital Comms or combination of relevant education, experienc and training.
  • Highly organized, results-driven and an expert at managing interdisciplinary creative workstreams and tracking many multi-faceted projects across teams
  • Comfortable in a highly matrixed and entrepreneurial environment with a track record of successful studio management of small to large scale studio teams
  • 8-10 years in fields directly related to creative and digital production
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks, and reliably meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Google suite and tools, with expertise in tools supporting digital workflows including Figma and Airtable. 
  • Open to regular travel to events and other Fanatics offices for various offsite and team meetings

The expected salary range for this role is based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role is eligible for the Fanatics Betting and Gaming annual bonus program.

*Salary range is listed in USD; ranges will change based on country and state of residence, which are reflected in Geographical Zones defined by Fanatics Betting and Gaming. *Salary Range: $188,000 to $245,000 (Salary range incorporates all of our Geographical Compensation Zones and is subject to change as the Zone associated with the actual Offer is confirmed).
