Full Description

The Role 

Fanatics is seeking an AR Collections Supervisor responsible for leading a team in B2B collection of receivables. This individual will guide the team to ensure customer payments are received within terms while protecting the organization against risk and bad debt exposure.

What We're Looking For:

  • Lead a team of AR Analysts and Senior Analysts managing portfolios of B2B customers, including Fortune 500 companies, big box retailers, professional sports teams, and leagues.
  • Build relationships with key Fanatics customers and internal partners, including Sales, Finance, and Customer Service.
  • Review staff work for accuracy and ensure expectations are clearly communicated and followed through.
  • Apply strategic thinking to drive improvements beyond daily collection tasks.
  • Provide leadership on customer communication, issue resolution, and interdepartmental coordination.
  • Work with customers to establish payment plans for aged balances.
  • Assign and prioritize workloads across the team to balance productivity.
  • Monitor, enhance, and report on departmental KPIs to track performance.
  • Analyze root causes of payment delays and work cross-functionally to resolve recurring issues.
  • Host working sessions to strengthen analyst knowledge of complex collection scenarios.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams to ensure timely resolution of payment issues.
  • Assist in the creation of detailed reports (weekly/monthly) for leadership and team use.
  • Support testing of process improvements and onboarding of new business lines.
  • Problem-solve independently and drive issues to resolution with minimal oversight.
  • Mentor and develop team members, promoting collaboration, accountability, and trust.
  • Foster a positive and professional work environment.
  • Perform other assigned tasks necessary to support the AR Department.

  What You'll Do:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field, with 3+ years of AR experience.
  • 2+ years of people management experience, including coaching and team leadership.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive action.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage B2B collections and improve processes in a high-volume environment.
  • Hybrid role: On-site Monday - Thursday in Tampa; remote on Fridays.
