We’re looking for a Senior AI Specialist to join our Subscriber Revenue team. This is a rare opportunity to work with our unique content viewing datasets spanning over 5 million subscribers, and use it to shape how content and pricing strategies are crafted across Sport, Entertainment, and News.

Key Responsibilities

  • Use Foxtel Group’s proprietary data, machine learning and AI frameworks to optimise content investment and subscriber pricing strategies.
  • Translate complex audience, loyalty, and content-viewing data into commercially impactful decisions.
  • Design and implement robust machine learning and AI solutions that unlock new value streams.
  • Partner closely with stakeholders to demonstrate the impact of analytics, selecting the right metrics, applying A/B testing, and leveraging experimental design.
  • Champion evidence-based decision-making, sharing insights and helping to embed AI best practices across the business.
  • Inform Foxtel’s broader AI strategy through market research, a deep understanding of industry trends, and a network of technical advisors.

About your experience

  • A PhD in Statistics, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Physics, Actuarial Studies, Computer Science, Economics, or another related quantitative field (preferred).
  • Substantial hands-on experience as a Data Scientist in a large, complex business environment, ideally one that deals with audience, customer, or loyalty data.
  • A proven track record of delivering data science solutions that drive material commercial outcomes.
  • Demonstrated expertise in applying statistical modelling, experimental design, and performance measurement techniques to solve business problems.
  • Deep experience designing, engineering, and deploying production-ready AI/ML models.
  • Ability to bridge complex statistical methods with tangible business value.
  • Proficiency in Python or R, strong SQL skills, and familiarity with BI tools such as Looker or Tableau.
  • A forward-thinking, collaborative mindset with a passion for applying AI in real-world, high-impact scenarios.
