The Role 

We have a unique opportunity for a Programme Integration Manager to join the Glasgow 2026 Games Experience team and play a vital role in the delivery of the Games.

Working closely with the Chief Marketing and Communication Officer you will ensure the operational readiness and integration of the Games Experience programme, ensuring that all teams and their suppliers are fully integrated and working closely together to streamline operational planning, identifying risks and challenges and mitigating issues.     

Job Summary: 

The Programme Integration Manager, Games Experience will be responsible for creating, owning and driving the Integrated Venue Schedule for Games Experience, bringing all Games Experience Functional Areas into one clear, anchored delivery plan through to Games time.

The primary output of this role will be the Games Experience Critical Path, a single, integrated plan that aligns milestones, dependencies, readiness activity, contractor deliverables and operational planning across the full Games Experience portfolio.

This role will ensure that Sports Presentation, Look, Wayfinding and Signage, Spectator Experience, Public Engagement, Live Sites, Festivals, Programming and related workstreams are fully aligned, sequenced and monitored. The postholder will provide the CMO with a clear weekly view of progress, risks, gaps, dependencies and decisions required.

This is a hands-on integration and delivery role. The postholder will look ahead, troubleshoot, deconflict, identify interdependencies, provide assurance and hold OC teams and contractors to account for delivery.

You’ll be at the heart of planning and delivering immersive Games-time experiences. From fan zones to athlete celebrations, you’ll ensure every team is aligned, every detail is delivered, and every experience exceeds expectations.

Key Skills and Experience:

To be successful in this role you will bring significant experience in programme integration, project delivery or operational planning within complex environments, with a proven ability to manage integrated plans, critical paths and milestone schedules. You will be confident coordinating multiple teams, contractors and stakeholders to fixed deadlines, with a strong understanding of major event delivery, operational readiness or venue-based planning. You will possess excellent problem-solving, influencing and communication skills, alongside strong planning, governance and assurance capability, and thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure delivery environments.

Experience working in a major event, sport, cultural, entertainment or live event environment will be advantageous. As will experience of Games-time readiness, testing, exercising or operational validation, and PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent project/programme management qualification.

Salary: Starting salary is from £64,375. Salary offered will be based on demonstrated skills and experience related to this role.
