Full Description

Become part of the Converse Team

Converse is a place where passionate individuals come together to create the future of sport. We are unapologetic about who we are and what we’re after — bringing innovation and inspiration to every athlete* in the world. We look for athletes who can push boundaries, elevate our potential and continue leading us to greatness. The next tastemakers, playmakers, risk takers and glue players. Are you game?

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You will report to Director, Brand Marketing based in Korea, partnering closely with Converse Korea cross-functional teams—IMP (Integrated Marketplace) Sales, Merchandising, Planning, Brand Marketing, and Operations—to turn seasonal brand direction into store-ready stories. You will also collaborate with Global team to stay aligned on brand standards and visual guidelines, and work ‘day to day’ with field leaders, store managers, and agency/vendor partners to execute consistently across all doors.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The ideal candidate is a seasoned retail marketing and visual merchandising professional with 3+ years of experience creating impactful in-store experiences for a sport/fashion brand. They bring a sharp creative eye and hands-on craft—able to develop concepts, briefs, and mockups that partners can execute—while also being operationally disciplined in managing timelines, stakeholders, and multiple doors. This role requires a proactive self-starter who thrives in fast-paced retail, communicates with clarity, and holds a high bar for brand consistency.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; a degree in Design (or a related field) is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in retail marketing, visual merchandising, store design, or related retail brand functions.
  • Demonstrated space planning and retail design capability (store layout, planograms, adjacency, traffic flow) across multiple store formats.
  • Strong creative eye and craft to build concepts and clear briefs (e.g., mockups/presentations) and guide agency/vendor execution.
  •  Strong stakeholder and project management skills; comfortable communicating with Geo/Global partners in conversational English.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You will drive retail marketing and visual merchandising execution across Converse Korea, translating seasonal stories into elevated store experiences. You will apply and evolve CBY (Converse-By-You) in retail and partner with local and global teams to raise space standards and deliver consistent brand expression.
You will:

  •  Collaborate daily with IMP Sales, Merchandising, Planning, Brand Marketing, and Operations to align priorities and unlock store growth.
  • Turn seasonal storytelling into clear VM direction—windows, focal points, fixture/product presentation, and in-store communication—across owned and partner doors.
  • Apply and evolve CBY (Create-By-You) in stores, using store walks and performance insights to improve the playbook for local consumers and store realities.
  • Lead space elevation through space planning and zoning updates that improve navigation, storytelling, and commercial performance.
  • Bring Seoul and Korea’s culture and community into the store experience—partnering with local creators and communities to build authentic, Converse-right moments that consumers can see and feel in retail.

Converse is more than a company; it’s a worldwide advocate for self-expression. This belief motivates our employees, permeates our working environment and inspires our products. No two of us look or think exactly alike. We are each one-of-a-kind. Individually and as a culture, we have the freedom to create and grow professionally. Generous benefits packages only sweeten the experience. From Boston to Shanghai, from Brand Design to Finance, Converse is a brand that celebrates the unique and creative people of the world. Together, we’re different.
