Full Description
The Product Communication Manager role is designed to overcome health barriers and product misconceptions particularly among key stakeholders that decide about product listings/distribution, be it in the trade, at universities, in on premise or in fitness studios and sports clubs. The Product Communication Manager is responsible for enabling sales (on & off premise) support 70%, enable universities mental & physical availability 20% and the development of networking strategy for relevant KOLs such as dietitians & PTs 10%. Within the role, ZenDesk (Consumer Care platform) will be also managed by this role on behalf of marketing. Product Communication Manager should have a relevant background and expertise such as science, nutrition, biochemical, chemical, health or sports) background and can competently answer product questions as an expert, and the role complements the work of the regulatory & legal department who speak to governments and national institutions. In case of the need, the role holder supports the entire organization and/or other relevant countries or regions via co-creating a strategy and executing it with relevant field & sales teams.

ENABLE SALES SUPPORT
- Support to strengthen commercial impact through strategic brand/product presence in priority gym zones
- Supporting sales by unlocking new workplace opportunities and converting awareness into action through internal communication and strategic product seeding
- Provide quarterly brand and product training for DPMs and DPs. Leverage field visits to detect product knowledge gaps.
- Provide targeted product tools to staff and bartenders at key on-premise accounts to enhance recommendation power and drive consumption.
- Supporting On & Off Premise sales targets mainly through Work & Fitness & Study occasions
OVERCOME BARRIERS TO LISTINGS AND PREVENTING DELISTINGS
- Help open new accounts & distribution opportunities by defusing health concerns that prevented the listing in classic trade and convenience as well as key strategic so-called “non-traditional outlets” – such as in universities, fitness studios and sports clubs as well as in the on premise, particularly the day-time.
- Help prevent delisting's where customers are concerned because of negative word of mouth or media coverage, working in close cooperation with the on and off premise sales teams.
MANAGE INTERNAL PRODUCT TRAININGS & COMMUNICATION
- Work on product related topics with all departments to drive product understanding and relevance internally (internal presentations, support etc.).
- Organize and coordinate trainings for Red Bull Athletes and Social Opinion Leaders.
- Conduct product trainings with student marketeers and make sure to integrate product expert program in occasions strategy with smart approaches.
PLANNING & REPORTING
- Customize every use case for stakeholder visit using the global library, existing 3rd party product brochures and liaise with the international team in case specific new support / argumentation / facts & figures are needed.
- Report on learnings from all meetings with key stakeholders in monthly reporting.
- Collaborate with HQ Counterpart via update document to exchange learnings, best practices and landscape with local and global Product Communication Managers.
- Maintain collaboration and dialogue with the international team as well as Regulatory & Science around potential topics that require their expertise.
- Maintain collaboration and relation with other countries especially within the same region to follow up on any needs regarding Regulations and overcoming barriers. Plan quarterly check ins with respected countries without Product Communication Managers to work on strategy and initiatives as well as trainings.
NETWORK MANAGEMENT & DEVELOPMENT
- Leverage existing network of credible 3rd party experts, who in certain instances can speak to key stakeholders in their own line of expertise (ie: Neuroscientist speaking about Red Bull + concentration with a University Dean).
- Identify and develop relationships with credible 3rd party experts who could add value to the product expert program.
- Attend conferences relevant to the health/wellness/sports and product marketing landscape to stay current and understand what other brands are doing in this space.
- Integrate product seeding with OL groups/conferences where credible.
CUSTOMER / CONSUMER CARE (ZENDESK) PLATFORM – MARKETING LEAD
- Leading the tickets coming from consumer / customers to chat boat which are related to marketing.
- Build insights and actions from tickets for a premium consumer journey with the use of technology.
- Make sure all answers are aligned with HQ regulations and company roles.

- 5+ working experience, preferably in a corporate/business environment.
- Strong communication at verbal and written communication combined with good negotiation and diplomatic skills.
- Motivation to lead innovation & trial of new ideas via becoming a role model for Brand love to grow new talents and land train the trainer programs.
- High standard of integrity with a passion for the brand and commitment to Red Bull values.
- Building insightful actions to deliver quality results in line with business/ marketing priorities
- A curious mind to bring entrepreneurial growth pillars is key.
- Specific experience in Nutrition for sportsmen or sports background is a plus.
