The Role: 

As a People Team Intern (m/w/d) based in Munich, you will support the Head of People with day-to-day HR administration, working time tracking, reporting, and basic office coordination. This role offers genuine, practical experience across the employee lifecycle — from onboarding support and document management through to data maintenance and compliance reporting. Working closely with the Head of People, you'll be trusted with real responsibilities from day one. This is an ideal opportunity for someone at the start of their career in HR who wants to understand how a People function operates within a fast-paced, international sports media company. 

Duration: 6 months | Start: 15. May

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting day-to-day HR administration — helping prepare documents, maintain personnel files, and organise employee records in compliance with data protection requirements  
  • Administering and monitoring DAZN's working time tracking system — ensuring employee records are complete and compliant with the German Working Time Act (Arbeitszeitgesetz), following up on incomplete entries, and flagging anomalies to the Head of People 
  • Generating regular working time and HR reports, supporting data quality checks and basic People team reporting 
  • Assisting with onboarding coordination for new joiners — including welcome materials, first-day logistics, and system setup 
  • Supporting offboarding administration — including document preparation and checklist coordination 
  • Helping prepare employee lifecycle documentation such as contract amendments, confirmation letters, and reference letters (Arbeitszeugnisse) 
  • Supporting payroll-relevant data collection ahead of monthly deadlines 
  • Providing office coordination support — helping ensure the workplace is tidy, well-stocked, and welcoming, assisting with post and deliveries, and supporting meeting room and visitor management 
  • Helping coordinate People-led events, team activities, and engagement initiatives

What You’ll Bring:

  • Currently enrolled in a degree programme in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, Law, or a related field — or recently graduated and seeking practical HR experience 
  • First exposure to HR, office administration, or people-related topics through coursework, a previous internship, or a working student role is a plus but not essential 
  • A genuine interest in German employment law and HR processes 
  • Native or near-native German language proficiency — much of the documentation and employee communication is conducted in German 
  • Good English skills for communication within DAZN's international organisation 
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office — particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook 
  • Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail 
  • A proactive, reliable, and service-oriented mindset with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion 
  • An approachable, friendly personality and enthusiasm for working in a collaborative, fast-paced team
