Full Description
We are a football club with a desire to be the best and are always looking for talented people to join our Everton Family.
Everton is a workplace people crave to join, where extraordinary talented people belong, thrive and deliver the remarkable.
Paralegal
Who are we: Everton Football Club is one of world sport's most respected and revered names - a by-word for innovation, professionalism and community.
During the course of a glittering history spanning three centuries, the Club has been shaped and guided by its aspirational motto Nil Satis Nisi Optimum - nothing but the best is good enough.
One of only three clubs to have been a founder member of both the Football League and Premier League, Everton has played more games in English football's top flight than any other club.
While rightly proud of our rich past, and Goodison Park, our home of more than 130 years, we are now setting our sights on an exciting future at a state-of-the-art new stadium opening in summer 2025.
In doing so, we remain committed to developing and supporting teams across our Men’s, Women’s and Academy set-ups that inspire and continue to compete at the highest level of the game.
About the Opportunity: We have an exciting and unique opportunity for a Paralegal to join our Legal department on a permanent basis. Reporting into our Head of Legal and working alongside our Senior Legal Advisor, the successful candidate will provide a high-quality legal administration support across key areas of responsibility within the Everton Family.
Other key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the Head of Legal and Senior Legal Advisor in all aspects of their roles
- Assisting in the provision of administrative and legal tasks
- Drafting, updating and reviewing contracts and other legal documentation (including legal policies, standard terms, agreements and templates).
- Managing data and provide insight and analysis where required to the legal team
- Managing confidential client information within the boundaries of the General Data Protection Regulations
You will work proactively and develop effective working relationships with key Club stakeholders, both internally and externally.
Who are we looking for: We are looking for someone who has a 2:1 degree or equivalent, and has gained experience of working within a leading national or international law firm, or equivalent in-house department.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a very high standard of written English as well as professional communication skills, the ability to remain calm and provide high quality legal administrative support under pressure.
The team is based at the iconic Royal Liver Building, and we are currently working on a hybrid approach (three days in the office, two days working from home).
The closing date of this advert is Wednesday 7th May 2025.
We reserve the right to close this vacancy early should we receive a substation amount of applications.
